1140 Pipes and a Flute
1140 Pipes and a Flute - Ksenia and Evgeny Avramenko
The 1440 pipes of Elma's spectacular organ, the only one of its kind in Israel, which was built especially for Elma by the renowned German manufacturer Kleis, will be played by international virtuoso Evgeny Avramenko, and will be joined by one additional instrument: the flute played Ksenia Avramenko. The Spring concerto from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons," Piazzolla's "Libertango," Bizet's "Carmen" suite – and numerous other beloved works, will be played with amazing, enjoyable and moving virtuosity, in the joint concert of Evgeny and Ksenia, a married couple from Kaliningrad (Konigsberg), Russia.
Evgeny Avramenko, the head organist of the Kaliningrad church, and his wife Ksenia, a flutist, return to the Elma organ after an unforgettable recital early in the year – a highly imaginative concert with works for the two instruments together and separately. Not to be missed!
